On September 25-29th, 2014 the Rhodes Youth Forum for the fifth time has gathered together more than 100 young people who are prone towards responsibility and constructive behavior in the current changes the contemporary world is undergoing. The main purpose of the forum was to develop a road-map of initiatives to address social, economic, and political problems. For the second time in the history of the forum, young social entrepreneurs got chance to present their social initiatives and win the Youth Time Idea Grant. One of the working days was conducted jointly with World Public Forum “Dialogue of Civilizations” (WPFDC).
The Youth Time Global Forum 2015 took place from October 28th till October 31st in Barcelona. It was a unique event, which gathered together 123 participants from all over the world with the aim of coming to solutions for the most prevalent youth issues. The topic of the annual event was "The New Era of Employment and Education: Solutions for Change". The topic was relevant to the location and the current realities on the ground there, as in Barcelona unemployment and education are pressing, immediate issues. Young people who are looking for inspiration and people who have innovative ideas on how to tackle these issues were brought together at this event, to come to effective solutions for change. The program consisted, first, of workshops, in which participants were challenged to redefine the concepts of “employment” and “education”; and second, of project presentation meetings, in which participants and experts evaluated the proposals the presenters have made. The program also included roundtable discussions with prominent guests.
Youth Global Forum 2016 took place in Jakarta, Indonesia in November 23-27. The event gathered together more than 100 participants from all over the world. The topic of the annually organized event was related to the location and actuality of the matter. This year, it was "The Interdependence Between Sustainability and Social Entrepreneurship - Creating a sustainable environment for social development through tech innovation".
From 23rd to 27th of November 2017, Youth Time International Movement in collaboration with the General Authority of Youth and Sports Welfare in the UAE hosted its third annual Youth Global Forum. The location for hosting the event was the cosmopolitan metropolis of Dubai with the forum bringing together over 100 experts and participants coming from a diverse range of countries and backgrounds. Attendees were exposed to a variety of innovative masterclasses and workshops which touched upon topics related to the overall theme of the event – Ethical Entrepreneurship in the Time of a Competitive Knowledge-based Economy. Further, thirteen social enterprise projects were presented by participants with one winner receiving Youth Time’s Idea Grant to convert their idea into a reality!
Youth Global Forum 2018 took place in Paris, France from December 2nd-6th and gathered together around 80 participants, experts and trainers from all over the world. The topic of the annual event was Worldwide Impact Investment: the Role of Entrepreneurs”. This three day forum saw attendants participate in various workshops, masterclasses and key-note speeches from the some of the world’s foremost experts in the field. The event culminated with fifteen project presenters getting the chance to showcase their projects with one ultimately winning the coveted Youth Time Idea grant to turn their project into a reality!
Youth Time International Movement is for the FINAL TIME, officially re-opening the application call for Participants to attend fifth annual Youth Global Forum. Don’t miss the opportunity to spend an exciting week in one of Europe’s tech hubs, the city of Amsterdam, and gain invaluable new skills, knowledge and experiences that will serve as a solid foundation for your future entrepreneurial & professional endeavors. The event will take place in Amsterdam, from December 2nd – 6th with over 100 participants, experts and trainers from all over the world. The application call will close on November 10th 2019.
We as humanity are rapidly moving towards a future where machines and technology are beginning to dominate our daily routines. It seems that whether it be Education, Security, Business or Manufacturing, no aspect of society will be exempt from the continued integration of man and machine.
Over the course of the Youth Global Forum we will discuss the topic of ‘’Inclusive Development vs Industry 5.0: Where is the future?’’ and with the help of a diverse range of field experts and industry leaders, equip youth with the necessary tools to adapt succesfully to modern conditions.
Moreover, all participants will benefit from several workshops, keynotes and masterclasses led by some of the world’s foremost experts on the matter of Industry 5.0 & Inclusive Development.
Who can apply?
- Young people 20-35 from around the world;
- Master’s/PhD students, social entrepreneurs, young professionals, persons working at/with startup incubators and/or accelerators;
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
You can either apply as a project presenter or a basic participant.
As a basic participant you can expect to:
- Participate in educational and interactive talks and become inspired through sessions conducted by distinguished, honorable guests;
- Gain valuable new skills, knowledge and experiences that will serve as a solid foundation for your future entrepreneurial & professional endeavors;
- Have a unique opportunity to meet with 100 like-minded people from across the globe and network with renowned professionals in the fields of business, entrepreneurship, finance, science, technology and education.
- Paid Internship at the International Youth Society Of Eco Friendly Renewable Technology (India) will be offered to one of the Youth Global Forum attendees;
- Rich cultural exchange program which includes trips to see some of Amsterdam’s most iconic attractions;
- Official welcome and closing dinners, as well as the projects awarding ceremony in special stunning spots in Amsterdam
Participation is partially funded. The complete program, cultural activities and official dinners are covered by Youth Time International Movement. Travel costs come at your own expense. There is also a registration fee which will go towards the budget which will support the grant awarded to the 1st place project winner and your accommodation. The fee is 350 EUR for international participants and 200 EUR for local participants.

On the Way to Reducing the Highest Suicide Rate in the World: the Story behind Youth Global Forum 2018’s Winning Project, from GuyanaWritten by Youth Time Administrator
Mental illnesses and neurological disorders affect every fourth inhabitant of the small South American country of Guyana. Moreover, according to the World Health Organization,this small nation of less than a million people reports the highest sucide rate in the world. One of the project presenters at Youth Time’s Youth Global Forum in Paris, Shinelle Bayrd, decided to raise the general awareness of this problem and promote the possibility of improving the overall physical, mental, spiritual,and emotional wellbeing of people in Guyana. Her project – called the Wellness Center – was awarded the first place and recieved a realization grant. In an interview withYouth Time magazine, she talks more about the difficulties people face in Guyana and her ideas about how she plans to change the situation for the better.

Ms. Milas’ research interests are in the fields of philosophy (ethics), religious science, communication and cultural studies. She has participated in national and international scientific and professional conferences and has published several scientific and professional papers. Ms. Milas will be hosting a workshop under the theme, ‘Social Factors that Influence Knowledge Development and Knowledge Management Techniques’. This pre-event interview aims to provide Youth Global Forum participants with added insight and understanding as to what they can expect from the workshop, in addition to learning how to best prepare for the event.
