Open Lecture by Bernard Ramanantsoa

Under the auspices of “Education of My Dream” project Youth Time, Association “Dialogue Franco-Russe” and the Faculty of Political Science of the Lomonosov Moscow State University organized an open lecture, where Prof Bernard Ramanantsoa, Dean of HEC Paris School of Management, was invited as a key speaker.

There were no free places in the auditorium. More than 300 participants were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Political Science Prof Andrey Shutov. He emphasized the importance of the agreements about cooperation with HEC Paris School of Management, which were worked out during this event.

“Today this school became number one in Europe. One distinguishing feature of the school is special attention to the creation of leadership features in young professionals and specialists”, — Dr Vladimir Yakunin, Head of the State Policy Department, said while introducing the speaker to students. “Professor stated that a leader cannot be made in school. A leader can be created by the effectiveness of his professional life. But to give proper orientation for the young professionals, the way to success in his life — that the responsibility of this school and its teachers”.

Ms Julia Kinash, the President of the Youth Time International Movement, that was the organizer of this lecture, introduced the students to several current projects. Firstly, the Rhodes Youth Forum, where young people from different countries can present their social projects and get support for their realization. The second project called “New Paradigm of Education” is dedicated directly to the education. The mission of this initiative is to expand youth possibilities to play a constructive role in changing the educational paradigm and empowering young leaders on education that can fill and enrich all strands of our societies. At the end of her intervention Ms Kinash invited students and representatives of the Lomonosov Moscow State University to join this project and participate in the International Youth Forum “New Paradigm of Education — European Dialogue” that will take place 26 – 27 November 2013 in Paris (France).

Dean Ramanantsoa told youth about France’s experience of keeping its positions as one of leading economies in the world. Students asked their questions to the guest. As a result of the lecture was not only new knowledge for its participants but the agreement about cooperation between two well-known educational institutions as well. All participants were given by the latest issue of the Youth Time Magazine and info materials.
